# Talib.me Terms & Conditions

> Effective Date: August 14, 2026. Operated by Ismail Hossain trading as Talib.me (Dhaka, Bangladesh).

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Talib.me. By creating an account, uploading a resume, or publishing a portfolio, you agree to these terms.

## 1. Description of Service
Talib.me converts a resume PDF into a hosted, public portfolio website on a subdomain of talib.me (e.g. yourname.talib.me). Portfolio generation uses an AI parsing pipeline; hosting is delivered via a global CDN.

## 2. Trial Period & Hosting Plans
- **Free Trial**: New users receive an unconditional 7-day free trial on their first published portfolio website.
- **Monthly Pass**: $4 for 30 days of active hosting (one-time payment, no auto-renew).
- **Annual Pass**: $20 for 365 days of active hosting (one-time payment, no auto-renew).
- **Update Policy**: First 5 portfolio updates are free. Every fifth update thereafter costs $2.

## 3. Merchant of Record
Payments are securely processed by Freemius, acting as our global Merchant of Record. Freemius handles payment collection, taxation, invoicing, and refunds.

## 4. User Ownership & Intellectual Property
- You retain full ownership of all resume content and personal data uploaded.
- Talib.me retains intellectual property over its platform, templates, code, and AI parsing infrastructure.

## 5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to upload unlawful, infringing, or impersonated content, and not to compromise the security or integrity of Talib.me infrastructure.

## 6. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
